Admission Requirements

- Age: Candidates are usually
between 20 and 40, although exceptions can be made with the permission
of the Provincial.
- Education: Because of the
length of time required for studies for the priesthood, it is
preferable for candidates already to have an undergraduate degree.
Brother candidates need at least a high school degree and some
further study or work experience.
- Finances: Candidates must
be debt-free, with no dependents (young children, parents) and
able to provide for personal health insurance for about two years.
Candidates needing assistance will be seriously considered.
- Candidates must be unmarried
and free to enter a religious community.
- Candidates must meet certain
health requirements as set out in Canon Law and Province policies.
- Candidates must provide other
documentation as requested including transcripts and letters
of recommendation.
