A Marian shrine visited by over half a million pilgrims each
year, this is the oldest permanent community of the friars in
the United States (1906). It is also the location of the novitiate
program and a small parish, St. Mary of the Hill.

A small urban parish staffed by the friars since 1914, with a
grade school attached, this is also the location of the Provincial
offices.

This is the location of the postulancy program, the first phase
of initial formation.

Mountain -- Hinton, West Virginia
A small community of hermits live in simplicity, silence and
solitude in imitation of the original hermits on Mount Carmel.
- Monastery of Saint John of
the Cross -- Nairobi, Kenya
This is the residence on English-speaking African Carmelites
preparing for ministry in Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi and Tanzania.
Some French-speaking Carmelites from Rwanda and Congo also study
there.
